I still haven't totally recovered from what I now refer to as my "city limp", however I have managed to get back to work on numerous projects here at home and had quite a productive day yesterday. pretty proud about that. here are a couple of items for show and share...
remember a while back when I said I was obsessed with silhouettes? well, here's a painting of one I completed recently. recognize who it is? I would love to cover a small section of wall with nothing but these. whaddaya think?
the tree fabric has been quite a hit around curiousbirdland, and because of that, I decided to use some smaller scrap pieces to make zippered pouches. much to my surprise, even a small section of this fabric looks lovely. if any one is interested in a zippered pouch (perfect for makeup, widgets, etc), they're USD$8 including shipping. email me.
in curious bird news... as of last night, I put some lovely vintage fabric up for grabs on curiousbird. I have such a collection...I thought it would be nice to spread it around a bit. each fabric is in excellent condition. get it while it lasts.
have a great day.

I love silhouettes and that one is lovely. The blue background is so nice. I framed some silhouettes of my kids in a square because the oval felt too traditional, but I love how you've made it look completely modern.
