if I stare at this pincushion long enough no telling what it will turn into...

Motown_fabric
Upon going through my photo archives, I stumbled across this photo of Motown from a simpler, sunnier time. A time not so long ago in my old studio in North Carolina. He loved lounging on my project table (long gone -- sold at the yard sale) nestled between the sewing machine and the serger. Believe it or not he never once got buried in a vintage fabric avalanche. Talk about lucky.

I wanted to say thank you for all the super kind and supportive comments sent my way about the Plush-o-rama book. Mr. Skelly is truly grateful, too.
Once again,  I'm in awe of how amazing the blog community is --it really astounds me, but most of all it reaffirms for me that people are mostly good and kind and supportive of one another. That's really important to me. Thank you so much for that.

In curiousbird news, I have six new patchwork obis I'm really proud of and if the weather would ever cooperate I will get them loaded in the shop. For those of you who've asked about new ones, I'm only waiting for a little bit of sunshine. a. little. bit.

be well,
l.

My obi arrived in the mail today (so fast!) and it is lovely. The fabric looks prettier in person. Looking forward to seeing the new patchwork versions.
