still here.
I'm still here. I'm just spending most of my time focusing on crossing off each and every line on the two zillion to do lists I've recently created. Why so many? Well, it's what I do. It's how I roll. I'm a dedicated list-maker. Sad thing is...I'm only a so-so list-completer. The month of June is jam-packed with craft fairs, which is very exciting (if you live nearby, please make an appearance, I would love to meet you) but that means the month of May is jam-packed with creating items for said fairs. It's a busy and somewhat anxious time for me. The gorgeous weather outside is making it really difficult to sit inside and sew. Anyone else feeling this way?
And the fact that we're off to the Hudson River Valley in New York this weekend to do all sorts of wedding planning, which involves things like measuring land area to see what tent size to get {30 x 30 sounds big, no?) is a whole other animal. The wedding is four months away! Good grief, that's close. That's very close.
More soon, {in this case, soon might be next week}
L.

I remember when my wedding was four months away, and that did seem close. It just gets closer! Now mine is two weeks from tomorrow. I know how you're feeling.

Hon, we all feel that way (as I boldly speak for EVERYONE). It's gorgeous outside, but we are so dedicated to our craft that we must sit at the window, longingly, with a needle (or lever) in hand...sigh.
I will say that we are taking 1 day (ONE) to get out for a little canoe trip. My friend wanted to plan this whole outdoor weekend-long excursion + I think the you-know-I-have-absolutely-no-time-right-now-what-the-hell-are-you-tying-to-do...distract-me??? look on my face let her know that 1 day (ONE) is all I can give right now.
Cheers!

Hi there! Saw your link on the Art Star Craft Bazaar page. It's going to be my first show ever and I'm freaking the efffff out. Love your stuff! I'll stop by and say hello at the fair if I haven't collapsed by then. Oh, and it looks like a miserable day in Philly, so hopefully you'll be able to tackle those lists without distraction.

Deep breaths (of sunshiny spring air) and one day at a time (or one hour if your feeling really stressed)! Hang in there Leya - your gonna do just great. Now I'm going to go take my own advice! Enjoy your weekend!
