snow day

Happy Friday to you,
This morning I woke to a very pretty surprise outside. I was beginning to wonder if Philadelphia would get any real snow at all this winter, so it was a welcomed one. Very pretty...at least for now.

This week has been good. I haven't gotten enough done -- what is it with February? Owls were cut out for orders, so that's something I suppose. 
Honestly, it's been nice to take the time to start a book , watch a couple of movies, and just relax a bit. I highly recommend it. Spring and all that a change of seasons brings will be here before we know it.
I guess you could say I'm resting up in preparation.

oh my goodness. reading this & looking at these pictures make me long for philadelphia!! my husband & i used to live in west philly off walnut street.... oh my. maybe someday we will be back.
