Ma vie en rose
Hello friends,
Color week is moving right along -- only today and tomorrow to go.
I've really enjoyed being a little more aware of all the color around me and I can't even tell you how great it has been to peruse the beautiful photos taken by everyone participating. One thing I know for sure, I live in a very colorful world, one I sometimes don't fully appreciate. But this week has been different. This week I've looked and appreciated and clicked away. It's been sweet.
Here's what I saw (and shot) when I took a look around for pink and red.

I couldn't agree more.

Tomorrow is Blue. And blue is a pretty nice color. Blue has always been nice, unlike orange. It's easy. It's the color of birds, and sky, and my little brother's eyes (he got blue, I got brown). Tomorrow is Blue. I'm looking forward to it.
Bye for now,
Leya

Love these pictures, I agree also with make art not war! I am so enjoying this week of color.

I think that red has been the most straight forward colour to photograph for me this week.
Blue Friday here and I was hoping for a bit of sunshine so that I could snap my wooden cottage (which is blue)but no blue sky as yet - just a grey one!

These are all great photos. I love the angle of the flowers. And I've really enjoyed Color Week so far - it's challenged me to look at little details around my house.

I came across you site...great photos by the way. In your week that you featured pink and red, there was a photo of a postcard I believe that has an image of a woman. When I was 11 years old my favorite grandfather wrote me a poem and used this image at the top. I know he did his own printing, and until today I have never seen this. May I ask where you got this, and do you know where I could get a copy of the image. I lost the poem through many moves, and seeing that girl had brought back wonderful memories.
Thanks,
Leah
