I'm at it again. Getting witchy, that is. But before I show you my latest witchy creation, I wanted to rave about the lovely soap I recently purchased from Oakmoss. Both bars smell lovely -- I decided to go with the Sanctuary and Caravan blends -- and my skin feels wonderful after using the Sanctuary bar for a few days now. Another nice perk you should now about is that my order will certainly last me a while because each bar is quite large (5-6oz). I'll be visiting Oakmoss' Etsy shop again.
And now for the Meyer lemon salt scrub I whipped up. It's winter folks and that means super dry skin. At least for me anyway. Before moisturizing like mad, I occasionally need to exfoliate, which is where this lemony scrub comes in. It's super simple to make and will last for quite a while. And you know Meyer lemons added to anything is a good idea.
Simple Meyer Lemon Salt Scrub
1/2 cup Sweet Almond Oil
1/2 cup Sea Salt
1 teaspoon Lemon Zest
Mix together in a glass jar and there you have it.
The oil will separate between uses. No big deal, just re-stir.
And finally, take care not to get any water into the mixture during use. You've heard that thing about oil and water not mixing, right?
Have a good day,
L.

Your scrub is just the thing I need. And so easy as well! Ingredients will be added to the shopping list immediately.

I'm a fan of Oakmoss soaps too...they're just the best, and come beautifully packaged, too. I think I'll be tempted with your salt scrub recipe...thanks for sharing.
Have a happy sunny day!

I love this scrub idea! I usually make a lemon, olive oil & sugar scrub but this sounds like a nice alternative.
