The above photo doesn't reveal it, but this week has been challenging. People got sick. Sleep was hard to come by. A delightful visitor departed and two new (and just as delightful) visitors arrived. Laundry is piled up high and the rug in the living room is littered with cracker crumbs. Some weeks are just wackier than others. I'll be back next week with some photos and we'll see how things go.

Until then, have a wonderful weekend. Make some soup or perhaps some cookies. Ooooh, warm, out-of-the-oven cookies sound good, don't they?

leya, you do not have to apologize for not posting more here. you are engaged in LIVING, not blogging, and that's the proper balance! enjoy all that's happening, even if it's hard, because you won't pass this way again. i'll love hearing about your life whenever you get a chance to post, but don't forego face to face for this. face to face is where it's at! happy weekend!
