I think I probably would have screamed a little. They're sort of creepy-cute, yes?

Kim

I would have fainted dead on the floor to see that staring back at me.

Sherri

Dude-aren't they nocturnal? And if so does that mean your little visitor is rabid?

Ginger Haddock

Did he hiss at you? Maybe he has a family under the porch.

Steph

ahhh!!! this is really scary.

sade

How cool! We only have birds to see from the kitchen window.

Crystal

We had one hanging out in our tree like that. We finally saw a baby on the ground, called native animal rescue and it turns out that's what they do to teach their babes the way of the world, and they just sit in the trees above to keep an eye. Did you see any babies near the ground.

Laura

Gahh. When I was growing up, the only possums I ever saw were ones my grandpa had caught in a live trap, so they were scared and angry ... and hissing, stomping, and baring their teeth! So, I am terrified of possums. We see them in our backyard sometimes and my husband teases me about not wanting to go out there at night, but dude, what if they go for my leg?! :)

stacy

we get those alot here in austin too and it ALWAYS makes me go *eeeep* a little when I see one sitting on my fence! I am not really a fan of the possom-all I ever think is "man they look like giant rats" which I am DEFINATELY NOT A FAN OF either. Poor possum, its not his fault he's freaky looking :(
