My two favorite people arrive home later today after five days away visiting D's parents. Phew! Five days was a looong time to be away from my little guy for the first time ever. However, it was a wonderful gift to have some "me time" to work on projects and relax. I managed to get several things done, which always feels pretty great. There were a few naps taken and A LOT of time spent just staring out the back screen door with tea in hand (not something I get to do very often these days).
But, after five days, I am  more than ready to kiss and snuggle my sweet (almost two year old) boy and settle in on the sofa for a long catch-up chat and snuggle with my other sweetie. Come home already, fellas! I'm counting the minutes.
