a veggie pizza cooked on the grill
lots of lemonade consumed
a breakfast picnic/playdate with new friends
time spent in the garden weeding and cutting flowers to be put in little vases around the house
a quick visit with some of our best friends who happened to be passing through
an amazing thai noodle salad prepared by one of our favorite cooks
a daytrip to a fun pool party
lots of sunscreen applied and re-applied
"itch cream" dabbed on little bug-bitten legs
some chatting about our upcoming meetings with potential doulas
a few dance parties on the living room rug
and a couple of really nice, albeit sweltering weekend days
