Over the weekend...
There was a ton of making going on around here. I cooked myself silly making soft pretzels (ode to our Philly days), salsa, date/peanut butter bites (think bite-size Lara bars), hummus, and not photographed, a giant pot of red curry with tofu and vegetables that I plan to eat for the next few days (at least).
There was a super smiley baby who is learning to squeal and shriek.
A ladies night out to celebrate my friend's 40th birthday.
We attended a space party in the park, complete with a rocketship cake, a moon rock scavenger hunt, "space boots", and astronaut-in-training name tags. Felix was beside himself with joy.
A fair amount of story telling and book reading occured -- some of our current favorite books can be found in the side bar.
Hope your weekend was nice as well.
And Happy MLK Jr. Day!
