Just a quick hello. Today flew by. Sometimes Mondays do that in my world.
My plan is to say hello tomorrow and show a few photos of projects I completed over the weekend. Until then...
Nighty night,
L.
It happened. The few degrees warmer I was looking for earlier in the week finally arrived. What a glorious day. And to top it off, it's Friday. I can hardly contain myself.
Have a good weekend,
L.
Hey there,
Quickly saying hello after a week away. Our visit with family came to an end last night --it was lots of fun having them here and getting to introduce them to the city we call home. We criss-crossed Philly on foot exploring places we love and also places we don't normally visit. Getting to play tourist, but not being completely turned around and lost was quite a kick.
Now if only I can locate my old routine. I know it's here somewhere.
Oh, before I go. Thanks so much for all the sweet birthday wishes last week. So far 32 seems to be treating me well. I'll keep you posted.
Bye for now,
Leya
I turn 32.
I've decided this year is the year of the very mellow birthday. Partly because I'm more interested in a nice dinner at a restaurant I've had my eye on than drinks, cake, and balloons, and partly because I'm saving all of my energy for the family visit that begins on Wednesday.
I will say that being 31 was incredibly sweet. I got married, was able to travel to some really beautiful places, and even made some wonderful new friends. It was sweet indeed. Here's to 32. I'm looking forward to it.
Have a great day,
leya
I'm back from a weekend away. It was nice, although not the best weather for my plan to run around and snap lots of photos. Rain and my D50 aren't friends and never will be. But it was lovely spending time with my best girl in a great city. A delicious brunch in Brooklyn, perusing Cog and Pearl, and our trip to Spout Home for a few new plants were definitely highlights. Now it's time to get back to work. I'm still getting used to the time change...it always takes me a few days.
Not sure how this week is going to look with regard to posting.
In the meantime, have a good day.

Here are some of my recent flickr favorites. As Spring approaches, I'm definitely finding myself drawn to more and more color (and apparently candy sprinkles).
I'm off to New York for the weekend. No agenda, except for a long-awaited trip to Muji and some exploring with my camera. Or should I say cameras...I've dusted off my Holga and am taking it along too. Speaking of, I recently found a very helpful site for anyone wanting to learn more about Holga photography. They are really fun little cameras -- cheap and easy to customize.
More Soon,
L.
