I had to share these cute bento box lunches made by Mena over at Nested. She makes them for her daughter Penelope, and although she admits she doesn't get around to making them all that often because they are fairly time-consuming (so glad she admitted that), they do look fun, both to make and to eat. I could really go for the one with the clementines and strawberries right about now.
Please oh please let Junebug be an adventurous eater. I realize I am getting a little ahead of myself here, but I would be lying if I said I hadn't thought about it. Working with kids has made me realize how picky some kiddos can be (frustrating), although luckily I have also noticed that some little ones will eat practically anything, so I'm optimistic. Perhaps "the bug" will take after my little brother and eat tomatoes and cauliflower as an after school snack...
He was always such a health nut and he never even knew it.
More snow on the way here, folks. I'm not pleased.
Until next time, be well
